Linen Soak (32 oz.) Gentle Stain Remover for Vintage and Antique Linens

This gentle but powerfully effective stain remover is made especially for vintage and antique textiles, taking out stains without damaging delicate fibers. You can use it with confidence, even on lace, embroidery, and family heirlooms. It is slow, gentle, effective, and SAFE for fabrics.

The product removes yellow and brown age stains, stains of unknown origin, and the discoloration that comes from long-term storage, restoring the fabric to its original color. If your item was previously tea-dyed to hide old stains, then it will also remove the tea.

Safe for cotton, linen, and most water-washable fabrics, the stain remover will not fade most colored embroidery (though you should check for color-fastness if the item has not previously been washed). It is fragrance-free and is activated by boiling water. Use 1 Tbsp. for every two quarts of water; the 32 oz. jar makes 50 gallons of solution.

For silk, you should cool the solution to lukewarm before soaking. The product is not recommended for wool.
